One of the best things about our job is seeing our products ‘in the wild’. We enjoy designing, producing and supplying lighting all day long, but nothing beats the feeling of encountering ‘your’ lighting in its natural environment. Especially when it’s at such an iconic landmark as the Millenniumtoren in Rotterdam.
This office tower, with a hotel on the lower twelve floors, was completed in the year 2000 (hence the name). The Millenniumtoren is located at the Weena and is very to Rotterdam Central Station. It’s impossible to miss if you arrive in Rotterdam by train. That’s why it’s so special that we were able to provide the necessary products to realise this project.
Lighting consultancy INIZIO Lichtprojecten was commissioned by BAM Bouw en Techniek to advise on the project and to deliver the required lighting. They decided to go for a beautiful blue light line from Clear Lighting. The light line brings extra attention to the already impressive entrance of the tower.
