Lighting technology includes all the necessary elements that make up a lighting solution, whether they are lighting features and performance, dimming capabilities, dynamic lighting functionalities or system integrations. The technology creates synergy by connecting the individual parts. Understanding all the individual components, their functions and impact on the final result enables Unlumited to provide solutions that match the application’s as well as the customer’s demands, offering exceptional flexibility.

Contemporary lighting technology allows us to go far beyond providing visibility. The solution that suits your application is one that takes the specific application, surroundings and requirements into consideration, optimizing usability and comfort.

Below you will find some definitions of the technologies we incorporate into our solutions.

Dynamic lighting

Lighting is capable of more than being switched on, switched off or being dimmed. It can have features like changing hues – tunable shades of white or colors -, functions like daylight sensing and automated programs that optimize usability and comfort.

HCL or Human Centric Lighting

The function of Human Centric Lighting is to recreate the positive effects of daylight where it is absent or insufficient. It is a dynamic lighting system that recreates the elements and effects of daylight, positively influencing well-being; increasing productivity; reducing slow start-ups, after-lunch and -dinner dips and preparing you for relaxation. In surroundings where there is no or not enough daylight, HCL is the best solution to replace or complement it, keeping our bodies in their natural biorhythms. The system is most beneficial in surroundings where people are exposed to artificial lighting for extensive periods of time.

Smart lighting

The functionalities of smart lighting depend on the system used. It is an extensively controllable lighting system for adding or using extra functionalities, such as dynamic lighting. Zen-Lite offers wireless connectivity, easy setup and programming, scene switching and automated scheduling for multiple lighting applications. It is suitable for single color-, dual color/HCL- and multicolor-control. Smart lighting can be combined with wireless sensors for energy saving, safety and comfort purposes. Due to the reliable wireless setup, the user can easily alter and reprogram smart lighting at any given time.
